Easter Seals™ Drop Zone comes around every August and for many people in the province it’s a chance to honour or support family members living with varying abilities. For some, it’s the thrill of a lifetime!
This year, the Easter Seals Drop Zone events took place in Regina and Saskatoon in August with approximately 150 people taking part and rappelling down Hill Tower in Regina or Carlton Tower in Saskatoon. In both cities, people came in full superheroes costumes to conquer a feat not many will ever do; rappel from the top of Saskatchewan’s tallest buildings to the ground some 200’+ below all for a great cause.
Event participants truly become Superheroes, as their efforts raised $234,837.45 province-wide! Affording Saskatchewan’s children and youth living with varying abilities the chance to go to Camp Easter Seal, attend a summer program with the Summer Fun program, or obtain a communications device through Adaptive Technology.
